Working with, and trained by the East of England Ambulance Service our joint commitment is that we attend all life threatening calls within eight minutes.
Leigh-on-Sea First Responders has been supporting the East of England Ambulance Service and serving the community of Leigh-on-Sea since November 2005
We are volunteers who live or work within the Leigh-on-Sea area, and are trained by the East of England Ambulance Service to give basic life support. We are trained to use oxygen therapy and a defibrillator machine on casualties with breathing difficulties, chest pains, unconsciousness and cardiac arrest.
